Job Summary
Lead Associate or Legal Director role within the national Sports Liability Team, handling own injury-focused caseload and devising strategy to achieve optimal outcomes for clients. Responsibilities include proactive case management, meeting deadlines, mentoring junior colleagues, ensuring SLAs and KPIs, timely billing and WIP/disbursement management, providing accurate MI, applying current case law, managing risk and compliance, and engaging with clients to build relationships. Opportunity to contribute to business development, client relationship activity, professional development, and ESG initiatives; role supports both in-person and remote collaboration with hybrid working arrangements.
Required Qualifications
- Associate or Legal Director with experience on Personal Injury, EL/PL or Catastrophic and Complex Injury claims
- high level of personal compliance with firm protocols and procedures
- good legal knowledge relevant to their area of expertise
- ability to adopt a commercial perspective to legal issues
- confident negotiation skills
- team-oriented with willingness to share knowledge
- excellent client handling skills
