Job Summary
Associate Lecturer (Teaching Focused) in Sociology at The University of Queensland (0.4 FTE, fixed-term through 27 November 2026). Responsible for coordinating courses and delivering lectures/tutorials for SOCY1030: Introduction to Health, Illness and Society, assessing and marking, mentoring students, and contributing to academic counselling and service activities. Emphasis on innovative teaching practices, online and in-person delivery, and active learning. Requires PhD or near completion in Sociology, strong communication and collaborative skills, and ability to use online teaching platforms (e.g., Blackboard). Based at the St Lucia campus, Brisbane; not open to interstate or international applicants. Salary range AUD 83,698–111,431 plus 17% superannuation; teaching-focused fixed-term appointment.”,
