Job Summary
Facilitate classroom, online, and laboratory instruction for one or more courses while developing relevant instructional design and curriculum. Serve as the initial point of contact for students regarding specific course content and expectations, including assessment of student performance. Work on a per-course basis each semester with a teaching load ranging between 1-12 credits. Submit a complete application including a cover letter, resume, transcripts, and professional references to be considered for future part-time opportunities.
Required Qualifications
- Earned doctorate in chemistry, biochemistry, or a related discipline
- Experience in collaborative and/or inclusionary settings
- Demonstrated commitment to student success
- Experience and evidence of success with college level instruction
- Eligibility to work in the United States (citizen, national, or authorized foreign national)
- Pass a criminal background check
- Supply three (3) professional references, one of which being a current or former supervisor
