Job Summary
Facilitate classroom, online, and laboratory instruction for one or more courses while developing relevant instructional design and curriculum. Serve as the initial point of contact for students regarding specific course content and expectations. Deliver 1–12 credits per semester on a per-course basis, with assignments on-site, partially remote, or remote depending on availability. Submit a complete application including a cover letter, resume, and transcripts to be considered for future part-time opportunities, as current need may not exist immediately.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in mathematics, statistics, mathematics education, or a related field
- Relevant work or teaching experience
- Must be able to demonstrate strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Eligibility to work in the United States (citizen, national, or authorized foreign national)
- Pass a criminal background check
- Supply three (3) professional references, one of which being a current or former supervisor
Desired Qualifications
- Master's degree in mathematics, statistics, mathematics education, or a related field with at least 18 graduate credits in mathematics
- Secondary or university-level teaching experience
