Job Summary
Teach at undergraduate and graduate diploma levels in law, including delivering lectures and tutorials, assessing students, and handling course administration in line with quality assurance requirements. Conduct research in line with the university’s strategy; contribute to scholarly activities, conferences, and external funding submissions; collaborate with colleagues, industry, and government; engage in governance activities when requested; and develop teaching and research expertise with increasing autonomy. The role requires strong written and verbal communication skills, online delivery capability, and the ability to motivate and support student outcomes within a multidisciplinary academic setting.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree (Associate Lecturer level) or Ph.D. degree (Lecturer level)
- Demonstrated ability to prepare and teach programs at undergraduate and post-graduate levels, including online delivery
- Demonstrated capacity to work effectively with and to negotiate sensitively with students
- Evidence of scholarly output including publications, conference contributions and/or technical reports in the field
- Ability to engage in projects effectively with colleagues, industry and/or government
- Ability to work autonomously whilst displaying a strong commitment to work in a team environment
