Job Summary

Associate Lecturer in Asian Studies to teach and coordinate undergraduate units, focusing on Southeast Asia. Role emphasizes education-focused pedagogy, curriculum design, and collaboration (team-teaching and administration). Requires PhD or equivalent in Indonesian language and culture, native or near-native Indonesian or related language proficiency, and substantial experience in higher education teaching and online/blended learning material development. Required Qualifications

  • PhD or equivalent in Indonesian language and culture
  • native or near native competency and fluency in Indonesian or another Asian language
  • experience in teaching Indonesian at tertiary level
  • experience with e-Learning platforms and online teaching
  • experience in developing online material for teaching and blended learning modules for Indonesian language classes
  • excellent problem-solving, time management, and interpersonal skills
  • capacity to work flexibly and collaboratively in a team environment
  • ability to assume service roles in administration and planning in the Asian Studies Discipline
