Job Summary
Design and implement interactive learning components using modern front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) while supporting the development of reusable component libraries and templates. Contribute to course builds and system implementations, ensuring alignment with design specifications and applying established patterns for consistency. Utilize AI tools to support content generation, transformation, and validation workflows, including summarization, feedback, and content structuring. Partner with Learning Product Owners and senior engineers to implement learning experiences, conduct testing, and optimize for reliability. Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through simple automation and tooling while documenting work to support team knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Instructional Technology, Learning Experience Design, or related field, or equivalent experience
- 1 year of experience in front-end development, learning systems, or related technical roles
- Foundational proficiency in front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript)
- Experience using AI tools to support development, content workflows, or automation
- Demonstrated ability to contribute to technical projects in a team environment
- This is a full-time, in-office position requiring five days per week in our Salt Lake City, Utah office
- This position requires occasional travel of up to 20%, including required attendance at designated company summits (typically one to two per year)
- Additional travel may include conferences, visits to company locations, and other business-related events as needed
- Additional travel may be assigned as needed to support business requirements
Desired Qualifications
- Portfolio demonstrating front-end development projects, AI-assisted solutions, learning technologies, or other relevant technical work is strongly preferred
- Experience with online learning platforms or LMS environments
- Exposure to AI-assisted development tools (e.g., Claude Code or similar)
- Familiarity with APIs, scripting, or lightweight automation
- Experience working in agile or iterative development environments
- Interest in applied AI, learning systems, or educational technology
