Job Summary
Draft pleadings, motions materials, and legal correspondence; conduct legal research and prepare memoranda; assist with discoveries, mediations, and trials. Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, insurers, and experts while managing files under the supervision of senior counsel. Attend court in person and virtually as required. This Associate Lawyer role supports matters across personal injury, motor vehicle, slip and fall, construction, and cyber litigation at a Toronto-based firm offering hands-on exposure and mentorship for early-career attorneys.
Required Qualifications
- 0–3 years' call to the Ontario Bar
- LLB or JD from a Canadian university
- Strong foundation in civil litigation
- Excellent research, drafting, and analytical skills
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Professional judgment and eagerness to learn
- Ability to manage multiple files in a deadline-driven environment
