Job Summary
Perform a variety of laundry tasks in an organized, efficient manner while maintaining equipment in a neat, orderly fashion. Ensure all machinery functions properly and report issues to appropriate personnel, adhering to policies and regulatory guidelines. Assist team members in daily activities, attend staff meetings, and participate in quality improvement efforts. Respond to operational problems through the proper chain of command, document issues legibly, and utilize a radiophone for all communications. Execute cleaning duties necessary for departmental functioning and consistently comply with machine operational procedures.
Required Qualifications
- High School or GED
- Ability to read, write, and speak English
- Good organizational skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- Good customer service skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization
Desired Qualifications
- 1 - 2 years Laundry in a Health care environment
