Job Summary
Associate IT Infrastructure Engineer at Sumerge supports the infrastructure team in building, maintaining, and optimizing IT infrastructure. Responsibilities include assisting in deployment and configuration of servers and applications, ensuring security best practices, and troubleshooting infrastructure issues. You will work with senior infrastructure engineers to learn industry standards and implement solutions that enhance performance and reliability. Additional duties include delivering first-level IT support, day-to-day IT infrastructure operations, installation and maintenance of hardware/software for end-users, deploying updates/patches to desktops/laptops, monitoring end-user devices for vulnerability prevention, updating accurate IT documentation, and maintaining asset lifecycle records.
Required Qualifications
- 0-1 years of relevant experience
- Good experience with Operating Systems Environment (Windows and Linux)
- Good experience with LAN and WAN Networks Technologies (TCP/IP, DNS, and DHCP)
- Good knowledge with Microsoft 365 Applications
- Good knowledge with cloud computing systems (Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services (AWS))
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn from feedback.
