Associate Interior Designer & Executive Support

Job Summary
Develop design concepts, renderings, and detailed plans including floor plans and elevations. Source furniture and finishes, coordinate with builders and vendors, and manage projects from concept through final styling. Create action items from meeting notes, document consultations, and approve merchandise upon warehouse receipt. Provide executive support by managing calendars, drafting correspondence, screening calls, and coordinating travel and off-site assignments for the owner. Candidates must report to work as scheduled, with overtime or travel required due to our client base. Overnight stays are necessary during market trips. This role offers unique exposure to business operations and strategic decision-making while developing design expertise within a firm specializing in space planning, drafting, and retail.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or equivalent experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software (AutoCAD, Revit, Photoshop, etc.)
- Ability to communicate clearly and follow through on commitments
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Ability to be adaptable and enjoy solving problems
- Ability to be highly organized and detail-oriented
- Ability to have a high level of creativity and design sensibility
- Ability to work as a team or individually and manage multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to maintain a positive and professional attitude
- Ability to travel locally
- Ability to perform in environments of varying temperatures and noise conditions
- Ability to be on their feet and lift or carry merchandise and presentation materials, up to 50lbs
- Ability to sit and operate a computer for extended periods of time
- Ability to be on overtime or travel
- Ability to make overnight stays during market trips
- Ability to report timely to work as scheduled by LDI Management
