Job Summary
Represent clients in environmental litigation, insurance defense, and other high-stakes matters by handling all phases of litigation, including case evaluation, discovery, motion practice, and trial preparation. Appear in court, take and defend depositions, and participate in mediations and arbitrations while developing and executing effective litigation strategies. Independently manage a diverse litigation caseload, analyze complex legal and factual issues, and stay current on developments in insurance defense, environmental, and commercial litigation with support from a collaborative team. Requires a JD from an accredited law school, NYS Bar admission, and 3+ years of litigation experience.
Required Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admitted and in good standing with NYS Bar
- 3+ years of litigation experience
- Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills
- Excellent analytical, negotiation, and communication skills
- Strong leadership and client development abilities
- Proven record of initiative, responsibility, and successful legal outcomes
