Job Summary
Associate Insurance Advisor III in Kelowna leads sales, service and profitable growth of personal lines and specialty lines (farm and commercial). Advises and recommends coverages and policies that best meet client needs; actively prospecting for all lines of business; completes front-line risk assessment and selection following underwriting guidelines and conducts inspections and re-inspections. Achieves individual goals for client service, sales, quality and productivity and contributes to agency sales and growth; responds to client questions and concerns, resolves complaints, and escalates issues as needed. Proactively completes client reviews on auto, home, farm and/or commercial portfolios; collaborates with peers and provides guidance for team development. Requires a minimum of 2 years insurance industry experience with sales experience, and a Level 2 General Insurance license, plus provincial licensing CE to maintain licenses.
Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 years insurance industry experience including sales experience
- A level 2 General Insurance license
- Meet all provincial-licensing requirements in accordance with continuing education in order to obtain and maintain all licenses
- Knowledge of insurance products and strong underwriting skills is an asset
