Job Summary
Associate Industrials in Global Industrial & Environmental Services investment banking in New York. Lead day-to-day deal processes (sell-side and buy-side M&A, private placements, corporate divestitures), oversee advanced valuation analyses (DCF, LBO, trading multiples, precedents), create high-impact pitch books and CIMs, manage due diligence with clients, legal counsel, and investors, and mentor Analysts. Requires 3–6 years of investment banking experience in Industrials or related coverage, a Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics (MBA preferred for Associate level), mastery of financial modeling and statement analysis, and strong PowerPoint skills. Office located in New York, NY. With a focus on sectors such as Aerospace & Defense, Building Products, Chemicals, and Industrial Technology, the role emphasizes deal execution and client-facing responsibilities within a fast-paced environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, or a related field
- MBA preferred for Associate-level applicants; required for VP-level without significant tenure
- Series 79 and 63 certifications (preferred or required upon hire)
- Mastery of financial statement analysis, complex modeling, and Excel
- Strong proficiency in PowerPoint
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
