Job Summary
Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot data center, LAN, WAN, Voice & Video, and Public Cloud infrastructure to ensure resiliency and security. Act as the primary contact for infrastructure services, collaborating with teams to maintain quality, security, and compliance while participating in service reviews and change management. Install, configure, and maintain network equipment including routers, switches, and firewalls, and coordinate with ISPs for network restoration. Provide technical support for end-users and resolve hardware, software, and network issues using ServiceNow and ITIL processes. Conduct regular network audits and develop documentation to ensure alignment with security policies. Work rotating shifts within the Mexico City Network Operations Center, applying advanced English skills to collaborate effectively in a matrix organization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications, or IT
- 2-4+ years of experience of monitoring, troubleshooting network devices including WLAN, LAN switching, Routers, SDWAN devices, Voice /Video, Cloud Operation
- Ability to work rotating shifts
- Advanced level of English
- Must be able to work independently on complex technical issues
- Must be able to solve problems in a structured and methodical way
- Proven experience as a Network Analyst or similar role
- Proficiency with ServiceNow, ITIL, Cisco, Juniper, AWS, Azure platforms
- Proven ability to work effectively and collaboratively in a complex matrix organization
- Demonstrated ability to drive process improvements and standardization
- Experience working with Telecom providers and supplier support organizations
- Previous experience configuring, troubleshooting LAN environments
Desired Qualifications
- Service Now experience handling tickets
- Demonstrated experience working in ITIL environments
- Experience in troubleshooting and resolving incidents and major incidents
- Experience in implementing changes and fulfilling IT Infrastructure requests
- Ability to communicate and collaborate with end users and service providers
- Experience working with some of the following: Cisco/Juniper products, Network Management solutions, Meraki, ISE and Bluecat DDI
