Job Summary
Represent clients in removal defense matters, including immigration court hearings and appeals. Manage a varied immigration caseload (asylum, cancellation of removal, adjustment of status, waivers, and related relief). Conduct client consultations and maintain regular, clear communication with clients in English and Spanish. Prepare legal briefs, motions, and other filings with a high level of accuracy and professionalism. Work collaboratively with a team of attorneys, paralegals, and support staff to ensure the highest standard of legal services. Participate in professional development opportunities and contribute to the firm’s growth and culture.
Required Qualifications
- Active U.S. law license (any state)
- Fluent in Spanish (preferred)
- Experience in immigration, criminal law, or appellate work; litigation or trial experience preferred
- Must be able to work in person at Richmond, VA office
