Job Summary
Ecumenical Liaison based in the United States to convey, interpret, and embody PCUSA policies and tenets; serve as a resource to PCUSA ecclesial partners, constituents, and strategic partners; represent PCUSA to international partners and diaspora communities; collaborate with the Stated Clerk to implement regional/global strategies; provide information-sharing platforms, support communications, monitor partner activities, and assist in developing security/humanitarian plans; maintain a home base in the U.S. with travel (domestic and international) as required; requires a Bachelor's degree with cross-cultural/international ministry experience (Master's degree preferred), strong intercultural communication, networking and relationship-building skills, and proficiency in Office software; travel and engagement with Mid Councils, diaspora communities, and partner organizations are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in related field
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in cross-cultural or international ministry
- Knowledge of PCUSA constitution and ecumenical ministry principles
- Strong Christian faith commitment and witness in the Reformed tradition
- Ability to interpret policies and engage with denominational constituents
- Strong written and oral communication skills; good listening skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Ability to develop strategy and work in cross-cultural team environments
- Willingness to travel domestically and internationally
- Ability to work with diverse communities and partners
