Job Summary
Lead the planning and execution of complex, cross-functional projects within Equities Operations, including Global Clearing, Equities Derivatives, Cash Equities, Prime Cash, Synthetics, and Stock Borrow Loan. Develop and manage integrated project plans, assign resources, and ensure milestones are met while communicating progress to stakeholders. Apply strategic thinking to evaluate scenarios, risks, and their impact on departmental outcomes. Ensure adherence to Risk, Control, and firm-wide guidelines, maintaining a strong control environment. Leverage data analytics, digital proficiency, and cross-functional collaboration to drive project success in investment banking operations, with a focus on automation to streamline workflows. Preferred familiarity with Stock Borrow Loan and Prime Broker concepts; direct experience in Investment Banking Operations and equities asset classes is a plus. Strong governance and stakeholder-management skills, plus excellent interpersonal and presentation abilities, are essential.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience: 4+ years managing or leading complex projects or programs
- Experience in financial markets or related financial services operations
- Experience in project governance and stakeholder management
- Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills
- Effective presentation skills at all levels
- Automation to streamline project workflows and increase operational efficiency
- Understanding of Stock Borrow Loan, Broker Dealer (Prime Broker)
