Job Summary

Execute equity and fixed income trades with accuracy while managing discretionary investment authority for assigned accounts. Conduct ongoing research for the Tower Select strategy, analyze market trends, and present findings to the investment team. Execute investment decisions including trade timing, security selection, and portfolio rebalancing within established guidelines and risk parameters. Manage client relationships by communicating updates directly, generating monthly performance reports, and supporting quarterly presentations. Troubleshoot operations and systems issues across multiple trading platforms to maintain efficiency. Prepare materials for the Investment Committee, including data analysis and guidance documentation. Maintain accurate records of trading activity and investment decisions while distributing reports to stakeholders.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or related field
  • 1-3 years of experience in investment management, portfolio operations, or related financial services role
  • Demonstrated experience with trade execution in equity and/or fixed income markets
  • Prior exposure to client relationship management or client service in a professional setting
  • Experience working with portfolio management or trading systems
  • Candidates must possess unrestricted work authorization and not require future sponsorship
  • Strong understanding of equity and fixed income securities, including valuation principles and market dynamics
  • Working knowledge of portfolio management concepts including asset allocation, diversification, and risk management
  • Familiarity with performance measurement and attribution analysis
  • Understanding of investment strategies including ETFs, mutual funds, and individual securities
  • Knowledge of regulatory and compliance requirements affecting investment management
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including financial modeling, data analysis, and report automation
  • Competency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Ability to quickly learn and adapt to new systems and technology platforms
  • Strong data management and analytical capabilities
  • Ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and draw actionable conclusions
  • High degree of accuracy in trade execution, reporting, and data management
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills for client interactions and presenting findings
  • Sound judgment and ability to exercise discretion within established investment guidelines
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and balance competing demands
  • Resourcefulness in troubleshooting operational and systems issues
  • Ability to work effectively with Portfolio Managers, operations teams, and clients
  • Confidence and professionalism in client-facing situations and team presentations

Desired Qualifications

  • CFA Level I candidate or progress toward CFA designation
  • Proficiency with portfolio management systems (experience with Axys, Moxy, Genesis, Black Diamond, or similar platforms)
  • Bilingual
