Job Summary
Provide consultative HR services across the employment lifecycle, including processing complex HR transactions (new hires, transfers, separations, restructures), benefits and payroll administration, time and absence management, tuition reimbursement, and workforce policies. Deliver HRIS support (Workday), maintain accurate employment records (I-9s, benefits changes, off-site storage), and participate in audits and continuous improvement efforts. Analyze data to diagnose issues, coordinate with stakeholders to align deliverables with organizational objectives, and ensure regulatory compliance. This hybrid role requires a Bachelor’s degree with 1–3 years of HR experience, strong communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to handle confidential information. The role may include some after-hours work and occasional weekend shifts; compensation ranges from $47,613 to $78,560 with benefits and a blended in-office/remote schedule in Omaha, NE.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree completed or in process
- Minimum of 1 – 3 years of progressive experience in HR
- Knowledge of payroll, benefits and HRIS concepts
- Workday experience (preferred)
- HR practices and labor and employment law knowledge
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and flexibility
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends as needed
