ASSOCIATE HR DIRECTOR

Job Summary
The Associate HR Director is responsible for serving as the Voice of the Associate at UDF, creating and implementing engagement strategies, and maintaining oversight of associate relations activities. The role involves consulting with business leadership on talent needs, developing recruiting and total rewards strategies, and ensuring compliance with employment laws. This position requires strong analytical skills, experience in employee relations, and the ability to coach leadership on people management capabilities. A Bachelor’s degree in HR or a related field and 5 to 7 years of relevant HR experience are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred
- A minimum of 5 - 7 years of progressive business HR experience
- Relevant HR generalist experience in a retail environment preferred
- Prior experience in employee relations highly preferred
- Working knowledge of all disciplines within HR required
Desired Qualifications
- PHR/SPHR or SHRM CP/SCP certification preferred
- Experience working across all levels of an organization required
