Job Summary
The Lane Bryant Associate role focuses on creating a hospitable store environment through customer engagement to help achieve company goals. Responsibilities include identifying customer needs and educating customers on current products, fit, and fashion trends to build trust and wardrobe recommendations. The role also involves supporting store operations, prioritizing tasks to meet customer and business needs, protecting company assets, and complying with policies and employment laws. Strong sales or hospitality experience, a flexible schedule including nights/weekends/holidays, and comfort with mobile technology (Registers/iPad) to engage customers are required.
Required Qualifications
- Strong sales or hospitality experience preferred with demonstrated ability to meet or exceed performance standards
- Ability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Proficient and confident utilizing mobile technology (e.g. Registers and iPad) to engage with customers
- Able to adjust/move store fixtures and merchandise weighing up to 25 pounds in all directions; may weigh up to 50 pounds on occasion and with assistance as available
- Retrieve merchandise above shoulder level frequently; climb up to 12-foot ladder to replace overhead fixtures or bulbs occasionally
