Job Summary
Associate Healthcare Investment Banker leads the day-to-day execution of complex transactions (M&A, IPOs, follow-ons, debt financings) and provides strategic advisory across Healthcare Services, HCIT, and Specialty Pharma. Responsibilities include managing the deal engine, overseeing advanced financial analyses and sector-specific modeling, maintaining industry coverage on healthcare trends, servicing corporate clients and private equity sponsors, and mentoring Analysts. The role also encompasses drafting high-impact pitch books, CIMs, and management presentations to articulate compelling investment theses, with a focus on rigorous financial modeling, deal execution, and cross-functional collaboration with deal teams.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Economics or a related field
- 3+ years of Investment Banking experience (or MBA with relevant finance experience)
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint proficiency
- Ability to lead deal execution and manage deal teams
- Experience with financial modeling (Three-Statement, DCF, LBO) and valuation methodologies
- Excellent communication and client management skills
