ASSOCIATE, GROWTH VENTURE FUND

Job Summary
Participate in due diligence for new and existing investment opportunities; assist in managing an existing legacy portfolio and new investments for Growth Venture Fund. Contribute to financial forecasts, analytical assessments of markets, management, competition, and other investment resources; prepare and update investment files with financial analysis and forecasting; ensure data resources and contacts are maintained on industries, markets and business trends; monitor the portfolio and provide financial, forecast, and statistical analysis for timely strategic insights; support cross-functional team members across the full lifecycle of an investment; deliver clear oral and written presentations in English. Collaboration with partners, associates and analysts within the Growth Venture Fund team to drive investment review and portfolio management in a hybrid Toronto-based role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Science or Engineering
- 5 years of experience in venture capital, investment banking, private equity or a related investment field
- CPA, CFA, an asset
- MBA or other graduate degree in a business-related discipline is an asset
