Associate - Green Skilling

Job Summary
Conduct on-field surveys, analyze large-scale data sets, and develop high-quality research documents including need assessments and situation analyses. Coordinate with state governments to operationalize feedback on green skilling policy and program implementation across solar, hydro, geothermal, wind, and waste management sectors. Organize events, seminars, and roundtable discussions while managing primary data collection through household interviews and focus group discussions. Support the team in drafting comprehensive research papers and critical research inputs for policy formulation.
Required Qualifications
- demonstrated experience in the skills sector
- at least 2-3 years of experience working in skilling, energy and livelihoods
- Prior experience in handling large-scale government data sets and working with state departments
Desired Qualifications
- Past experiences of working on sustainability and climate
- Demonstrated experience of working with state/central government
- A strong understanding of the skilling ecosystem
- Strong efficiency in conducting on-field surveys, FGDs and household interviews
- A post-graduate degree in any field with a preference for those possessing a degree in environment, climate and sustainability, energy, skilling related field, etc.
- Prior experience working with government and grassroots organizations in the space of skilling and livelihoods
- Proficiency in Telugu (spoken)
