Job Summary
Manage day-to-day supply chain execution for Electrical BOM items by tracking purchase orders, managing lead times, and maintaining delivery commitments. Support the Senior Global Supply Manager on high-value components like PCBAs, wire harnesses, and sensors through operational coverage, risk flagging, and supplier relationship management. Maintain accurate data in ERP and PLM systems while assisting with competitive sourcing, RFQs, and new product introduction processes. Identify supply risks such as obsolescence and single-source exposure to develop mitigation plans. Collaborate with engineering teams on supplier qualification and first article processes.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of experience in procurement, supply chain, electrical engineering or a related operational role
- some exposure to a hardware, manufacturing, or industrial environment
- Are organized and detail-oriented
- Demonstrate strong supplier engagement skills
- Have technical & commercial curiosity
- Bring influencing and communication skills
- Are energized by automation and AI
- Are self-directed and proactive
- Are excited about growing into a fully independent GSM role
- This role requires on-site presence at our Brisbane, CA headquarters
Desired Qualifications
- Familiarity with electronics manufacturing processes - PCBA fabrication and assembly, harness manufacturing, component qualification, or similar
- Experience navigating component allocation, end-of-life (EOL) management, or alternate sourcing strategies
- Experience with ERP or PLM systems (SAP, NetSuite, Arena, or similar)
- Exposure to New Product Introduction supply chain processes - supplier qualification, first articles, or production ramp support
- Experience using AI or automation tools in an operational or supply chain context
- Background in robotics, warehouse automation, or other hardware-intensive industries
