Job Summary
Build market share and revenue growth for an existing portfolio of institutional accounts, primarily Asset Managers, Hedge Funds, and Investment Banks based on the East Coast. Develop expertise in how political risks fit into client investment processes and leverage global resources to create value-add coverage and solutions-based engagements. Maintain knowledge of multi-region market developments and asset classes to engage sophisticated investors and develop deep client relationships. Create in-depth strategic account plans and support senior leadership in business strategy planning and major new pitches. Work closely with analysts and strategy teams as a value-added partner. This role is based in the New York City office for an Associate with 1 to 3 years of experience in global financial markets, with a base salary range of $85,000 to $95,000.
Required Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years prior experience in global financial markets in a client-facing role
- experience and knowledge of multiple asset classes, investment styles, and client types
- Prior experience in an institutional sale (sell-side or buy-side), advisory role, and/or consulting
- proven ability to monetize a differentiated research & advisory offering across a wide range of investors type
- Background in Emerging markets, FX, and fixed income markets
- other asset classes relevant
- Prior experience with strategic planning and prospecting/pitching
- Demonstrable interest in Eurasia Group's core political risk assessment competency
- Must be a self-starter
