Job Summary
Conduct comprehensive financial analysis and advisory support on transaction execution, new business presentations, and meetings. Perform market research and competitive analysis on industry trends, regulatory developments, and strategic positioning within insurance, asset management, and wealth advisory sectors. Coordinate with Industry, Product, and other groups to evaluate and originate new business ideas. Proactively identify operational risks and control deficiencies, then escalate loss events and risks to your line manager and relevant risk functions. Review and comply with Firm Policies applicable to business activities. Requires minimum five years of investment banking experience, FINRA Series 79 and 63 licenses, and a Bachelor's degree and MBA. Full-time role in New York with a salary range of $175,000-$225,000.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Investment Banking
- At least 3 years of experience in the FIG space
- Solid understanding of capital markets
- Spreadsheet modeling
- Outstanding quantitative and qualitative analytical skills
- Strong knowledge of finance and accounting
- Strong written and oral communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Ability to maintain relationships at all levels of the organization
- High standards of professional and ethical conduct
- Ability to represent RBC in community and industry activities
- FINRA Series 79 license
- FINRA Series 63 license
- Bachelor's degree and MBA, MA, or MS or equivalent emphasis in finance/accounting
