Job Summary
Associate in Global Valuation Services at JPMorgan Chase, hybrid environment, delivering accurate asset pricing and maintaining a strong pricing-control process. You will identify control gaps, implement tactical and strategic solutions, liaise with clients/vendors/auditors, present updates to senior management, cross-train staff, and support flexible scheduling to cover early starts or late finishes. The role emphasizes collaboration across internal teams to improve capacity, efficiency and control through process improvements and automation tools, leveraging experience in fixed income and fund valuation, and strong Excel capabilities to drive accurate and timely valuations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related field
- Two plus years of experience in Fixed Income, Fund Valuation, Pricing or other related roles
- Strong analytical/problem solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to troubleshoot exceptions and issues quickly to avoid market exposure
- Strong knowledge of Excel (pivot tables, v-lookups, macros)
- Demonstrated ability to communicate within a team and across departments
- Strong knowledge of industry activities, particularly corporate actions, index tracking, stock markets, and fixed income products
- Self-motivated with ability to work accurately under pressure to meet deadlines
- Previous team leadership experience and working with multiple vendors, clients and shared services internally and externally
- Experience with process improvements focused on efficiency and risk reduction
- High aptitude for learning new technologies
- Pricing vendor knowledge (ICE, Pricing Direct, Bloomberg, Reuters)
- Preferred: Previous team leadership experience and working with multiple vendors, clients and shared services internally and externally
