Job Summary
Develop complex portfolio analyses for Advisor clients and prospects, presenting key findings and delivering educational webinars. Answer the Financial Advisor hotline to resolve ad hoc investment questions and assist in creating marketing materials and charts. Build a robust understanding of Advisor business practices and capital market research to support business development and retention. Some travel is expected. This role is part of Dimensional's Global Client Group, which manages relationships with large RIAs and intermediaries to transform how the world invests.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Strong academic record
- 2-4 years of experience in the Financial Services Industry
- Solid understanding of Dimensional's investment philosophy
- Strong analytical skills
- Solid quantitative problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Detail-oriented
- Ability to work equally well in a team environment and independently
- Self-starter who is capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines
- Strong computer skills (Excel and Access) with the ability to learn programs as needed
- SIE (Securities Industry Essentials) license
- Series 7 license
- Series 63/66 license
- Intention to pursue outside investment-related education (e.g., MBA, CFA, CFP)
- Ability to obtain SIE, Series 7, and Series 63/66 licenses within the first 12 weeks of hire
