Job Summary
Associate Geologist in the Pacific Northwest Site Investigation & Remediation Team in Redmond, WA. The role focuses on field and data-driven environmental investigations (soil, groundwater, surface water, stormwater, soil vapor) and remediation support, with responsibilities including technical writing, preparation of reports and calculations, and collaboration on multi-disciplinary projects for industrial, government, and commercial clients. Requires a B.S. or higher in Geology/Hydrogeology, 1+ year environmental consulting experience, strong communication, and ability to work both in the field and in teams, with willingness to travel and operate within regulatory frameworks in WA/OR (and federal). Flexible working arrangements are offered, and project locations may be local, regional, or nationwide.
Required Qualifications
- B.S. or higher in Geology, Hydrogeology, or related discipline
- Minimum 1 or more years post-education environmental consulting experience
- Experience supporting environmental sampling, drilling oversight, site assessment, remediation, and/or compliance projects
- Experience preparing tables, figures, boring logs, and technical summaries for reports
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Consistent and highly accurate project work with a strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently in field and in teams; adaptable to field and office environments
- Ability to travel based on project-specific requirements
