Job Summary
Lead MES, EMS, and CMMS implementation by driving end-to-end design, selection, and deployment of digital platforms across manufacturing sites. Define the digitization roadmap in collaboration with IT, engineering, and operations to enhance data-driven decision-making. Manage capital project leadership for automation and instrumentation scope in greenfield and brownfield environments while upgrading OT infrastructure to Industry 4.0 standards. Act as the SME for automation technologies, providing expert guidance to cross-functional teams including maintenance, production, and IT. Support seamless system integration with SAP S/4 HANA, LIMS, QMS, and SCADA, and resolve technical issues with external consultants. Requires 10+ years in manufacturing automation within regulated industries; high travel expected. Based in Kurla, Mumbai.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience in manufacturing automation and digital systems within a regulated industry
- expertise in Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)
- expertise in Energy Management Systems (EMS)
- expertise in Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
- expertise in Operational Technology (OT) upgrades
- hands-on experience in capital projects as an Automation and Instrumentation Lead
- experience in greenfield project environments
- experience in brownfield project environments
- experience leading MES, EMS, and CMMS Implementation
- experience defining Digitization Roadmap
- experience leading automation and instrumentation scope in greenfield and brownfield projects
- experience upgrading OT Infrastructure
- experience acting as Digitization SME
- experience supporting seamless integration with SAP S/4 HANA PM
- experience supporting seamless integration with LIMS
- experience supporting seamless integration with QMS
- experience supporting seamless integration with SCADA
- experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including maintenance, engineering, production, and IT
- experience identifying and assessing opportunities for manufacturing digitalization
- experience developing a strategic rollout plan that includes readiness evaluation, solution selection, implementation, and change management
- experience collaborating with IT and external consultants to resolve technical issues
- experience implementing system enhancements
- experience ensuring the smooth operation of digitization initiatives
