Job Summary
Associate General Counsel at a fast-scaling AI-driven technology company in the advertising measurement space. Own a broad portfolio spanning commercial contracts, privacy and data protection, regulatory compliance, employment, marketing, and strategic partnerships while serving as a trusted legal partner across the business. Draft, review, and negotiate complex agreements including master services, SaaS contracts, and enterprise deals; lead the global privacy program aligned with CCPA/CPRA, GDPR, COPPA, and other regulations; advise on advertising, IP, consumer protection, accessibility, cybersecurity, and content regulation; develop and maintain legal forms, policies, and training materials; coordinate with sales, product, marketing, HR, and operations; manage outside counsel and support global partnerships and regulatory initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Active license to practice law in California (required)
- 15+ years of combined in-house and/or major law firm experience in relevant practice areas
- Strong background in commercial contracts, SaaS, technology, and enterprise service agreements
- Deep expertise in U.S. and global privacy law, including CCPA/CPRA and GDPR
- Excellent drafting and negotiation skills
- Ability to manage multiple high-priority matters in a fast-paced environment
- Experience managing outside counsel domestically and internationally
