Associate General Counsel, Regulatory

Job Summary
Advise corporate, operational, and clinical leaders on regulatory compliance issues affecting patient care, reimbursement, and business operations. Serve as the primary legal advisor on federal and state healthcare laws, interpreting Medicare Conditions of Participation, Anti-Kickback Statute, Stark Law, HIPAA/HITECH, and state licensing regulations. Lead the Company's licensing and Certificate of Need (CON) strategy while partnering with Compliance, Clinical Operations, Revenue Cycle, and Government Affairs to proactively identify and mitigate regulatory risks. Develop policies, guidance documents, and educational materials related to healthcare regulations, and provide legal support during governmental audits, investigations, surveys, and regulatory inquiries.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
- at least 6-8 years of legal and professional healthcare experience
- Relevant experience, and demonstrated success, in a law firm and/or corporate setting
