Job Summary
The Associate General Counsel, Product will lead Neros’ product legal efforts, collaborating with the General Counsel and CTO while overseeing compliance with relevant regulations. The role involves guiding interactions with the FCC, NTIA, FAA, and managing Neros’ IP portfolio. Applicants must have a JD, bar membership, and at least 8 years of relevant legal experience, particularly in radio spectrum issues. Ideal candidates will demonstrate practical law application, communicate legal concepts effectively, and possess the ability to obtain Top Secret clearance.
Required Qualifications
- JD and membership in a state bar or the District of Columbia bar
- At least 8 years of experience in government, big-law, or a combination, working on radio spectrum issues
- Experience advising defense technology companies
- A practical, solution-oriented approach to practicing law
- An ability to translate legal concepts to non-lawyer audiences
- An ability to obtain a Top Secret clearance
- A desire to stock the arsenal of democracy and defend the West
Desired Qualifications
- A prior role at the FCC, FAA, NTIA, or a DoW office with spectrum stakeholder status
- In-house startup experience
- Team sports experience
