Job Summary
Draft, review, and revise contracts including procurement, services, and non-disclosure agreements, while providing timely counsel to internal business units and executives on transactional and regulatory matters. Conduct legal research on state, federal, and foreign decisional laws, and monitor applicable industry publications to ensure compliance with data privacy and telecommunications regulations. Clearly communicate policies and procedures to staff while maintaining the highest standards of ethical conduct. Complete a full application with screening questions and a pre-employment test to be considered.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctorate
- Membership in at least one U.S. State bar
- At least 2 full years of experience practicing law
- Experience encompassing mergers/acquisitions
- Experience encompassing contracting and negotiations
- Experience encompassing consumer law
- Experience encompassing IP law
- Experience encompassing telecommunications law
- Experience encompassing insurance
- Experience encompassing regulatory adherence including US and foreign data privacy laws
- Strong oral and written presentation skills
- Excellent organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects at once
- Ability to follow through
- Ability to meet deadlines
- Proficient legal research skills
- Proficient drafting skills
- Use of Westlaw
