Job Summary
Manage the company's litigation docket and high-exposure matters, including class actions and regulatory enforcement, while directly supervising Senior Litigation Counsel and support staff. Own resourcing, workload allocation, and the development of scalable litigation processes, playbooks, and templates to drive efficiency. Serve as the primary deputy to the Deputy General Counsel on all disputes, eDiscovery, and strategic judgment calls, stepping in for approvals and stakeholder communications during the Deputy GC's absence. Direct outside counsel engagement, manage litigation budgets, and oversee vendor/technology decisions for eDiscovery and AI tools. Represent ZoomInfo in mediations, arbitrations, and court proceedings as needed, while providing senior oversight of litigation holds and information governance policies. Partner with cross-functional stakeholders on coordinated litigation input and deliver risk reporting to executive leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
- Active member in good standing of at least one state bar
- 10+ years of litigation experience, including substantive experience at a reputable law firm and/or in-house legal department
- At least 3+ years in a people-management or team-leadership capacity
- Demonstrated experience handling all phases of complex litigation from pleadings through trial/appeal, including significant motion practice, discovery, depositions, and court appearances
- Strong preference for candidates with experience in privacy and/or securities litigation, including class actions
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Exceptional analytical and strategic planning abilities with a proven record of developing creative, business-aligned solutions to complex legal problems

- Ability to evaluate enterprise-level litigation risk, prioritize competing matters, and communicate clearly to non-legal senior stakeholders and, where appropriate, the Board
- Proven experience managing litigation budgets and outside counsel relationships/spend at scale
- Exceptional written and oral advocacy skills, including experience presenting to executive leadership
- Advanced negotiation skills with a track record of favorable settlement outcomes
- Superior organizational skills managing a portfolio of high-stakes matters simultaneously across a team
- Strong cross-functional relationship-building skills across Privacy, Regulatory, Employment, Commercial, IT, and Security
- Forward-thinking approach to legal service delivery, including use of legal AI/technology tools in litigation and eDiscovery
