Job Summary
Partner with leadership to develop commercial contracting strategies aligned to business objectives and draft, negotiate, and review master purchase, service, supply, lease, maintenance, SLA, and distribution agreements. Advise senior executives on complex legal issues involving material business risk, assess exposure, and drive practical risk-mitigation solutions. Design procedures for contract review and approval, deliver training on contract provisions, and evaluate business practices for legal risk. Coordinate with compliance, litigation, IP, and risk management experts while managing outside counsel and collaborating with finance, supply chain, insurance, and R&D teams. Manage talent development and performance management for the Global High-Tech business.
Required Qualifications
- J.D. from an accredited law school with strong academic credentials
- 12+ years of legal experience (in-house and/or law firm) in commercial contracting in global organizations
- Proven leadership and mentoring capabilities
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder influence skills
- High integrity, credibility, and professionalism
Desired Qualifications
- Admission in a US state bar
- Experience in global high-tech, data center industry, and complex contract negotiations
- Ability to operate in a matrixed, global organization
- Experience leveraging AI solutions in legal service delivery
