Associate General Counsel

Associate General Counsel, Global Commercial Legal, Aesthetics at AbbVie leads legal strategy for U.S. aesthetics products (including Botox and Juvederm), advising executive leadership and cross-functional teams on regulatory, marketing, contracting, and compliance issues. Responsibilities include serving as lead counsel to senior leaders, providing legal guidance across Marketing, Sales, Medical Affairs, Regulatory Affairs and others, overseeing regulatory submissions, navigating FDA regulations and industry codes (False Claims Act, Anti-Kickback Statute, OIG, PhRMA & AdvaMed, Sunshine Act, FCPA), mentoring attorneys, managing outside counsel and budgets, and shaping enterprise legal frameworks. Preferred qualifications emphasize strong business acumen, leadership in matrixed environments, and ability to translate complex legal issues for broad audiences. The role requires a Juris Doctor, active bar license, and 10+ years of experience; compensation range described in location-specific disclosures may apply.
