Job Summary
The Associate - GCBDA Credit Management role involves supporting management in establishing the new Regional Credit Management function, providing governance support, monitoring project progress, and coordinating strategic project deliveries. Key responsibilities include overseeing implementation of credit processes, improvements in data accuracy, and stakeholder management. The position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in project management or credit risk management, strong problem-solving and organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and proficiency in managing complex data reporting and multiple projects simultaneously.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years work experience in project management/ regional function management in credit risk vertical
- Experience in stakeholder management and an ability to build partnerships
- Ability to multitask and work on large/ complex data sets and reporting
- Good understanding of credit principles, Risk Weight Assets, Ratings, Credit Costs, Credit systems (financial spreading, credit write ups including AI, covenant management etc)
- Experience in coordinating projects aimed at centralization, standardization and efficiency improvements
- Strong problem-solving skills and stakeholder management skills
- Strong communication, data, presentation and report writing skills
- Experience in managing multiple complex projects and competing priorities, completing milestones, and working toward multiple deadlines simultaneously across time zones
- Highly organised, with a structured and logical approach
