Job Summary
Prepare and review financial statements, NAV reports, and client deliverables while ensuring compliance with SSAE requirements and IQ-EQ policies. Manage workflows by tracking requirements, addressing review comments, and escalating operational issues. Perform capital call and distribution calculations, support fund onboarding, and assist with system migrations to platforms like Investran and Paxus. Collaborate across teams, act as a backup for senior accountants, and guide junior team members. This Associate role provides timely accounting support to private equity clients within IQ-EQ's global Investor Services group, leveraging expertise in IndAS, IFRS, and GAAP.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Accounting or a business-related field
- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong understanding of IndAS, IFRS, and GAAP (US, UK, and Luxembourg)
- Experience preparing financial statements, disclosures, working paper files, and other financial information in compliance with applicable laws and regulations
- Operational experience in fund accounting services, preferably within private equity
- Proficiency in using accounting software such as Investran and Paxus
- Intermediate Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, IF functions, and other similar data analysis tools
- Fluency in English
- Proficiency in an additional foreign language
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, email, word processing, and video conferencing applications
