Job Summary
Process guest check-ins by confirming reservations, assigning rooms, and issuing/activating room keys; handle payments (room charges, cash, checks, debit, credit) and process check-outs, resolving disputes as needed. Coordinate with Housekeeping to track room readiness, provide guests with directions and local information, and dispatch bell/valet staff as required. Compile and review daily reports (arrivals/departures), manage cashier/closing reports, and balance/drop receipts per Accounting specs. Maintain professional communication, uphold safety/security policies, protect proprietary information, and uphold Marriott’s service standards while supporting guests with disabilities and ensuring a positive guest experience. The role requires standing/walking for extended periods and the ability to lift/carry objects up to 10 pounds. Preferred education: high school diploma or GED; no related work experience or supervisory experience required. Location: Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh, India.
