Job Summary
Coordinate inbound and outbound shipments by preparing documentation, tracking status, and resolving routine transportation issues with internal teams and external partners. Maintain vendor and carrier records, including auditing billing details and updating contracts, while communicating shipment updates and supporting logistics meetings. Assist with scheduling, import/export compliance, and process improvements through ongoing analysis of industry and operational data. U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident required; no sponsorship available. Located in Mankato, MN.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field
- JD/PhD in Business, Engineering, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in customer compliance and/or logistics
- U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Resident
- Authorization to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship
Desired Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of supply chain management, business operations, and resource planning, including strategic planning, customer service, production, and cross-functional coordination
- Ability to handle third party vendor, including tender creation, negotiation and coordination
- Experience preparing shipping and customs documentation for domestic and international freight
- Familiarity with tracking and tracing shipments using logistics or transportation management software
- Ability to resolve routine shipment discrepancies or delivery issues in coordination with carriers and internal teams
