Job Summary
Develop new products and improve existing offerings for Foodservice customers by partnering with clients to drive innovation from concept through commercialization. Design and execute experiments, analyze results, and translate findings into product recommendations while leading trials, plant validations, and commercialization activities. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver projects on time, managing multiple priorities independently and supporting continuous improvement of current portfolios. Travel up to 20% to manufacturing sites in the Conagra network as needed.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Food Science or a related field
- Knowledge of food formulation, ingredient functionality, product development, and commercialization principles
- Understanding of food safety, quality systems, and Food and Drug Administration regulations
- Strong organization, communication, and project management skills
- Self-motivated and comfortable working independently while collaborating effectively with others
- Travel up to 20% to manufacturing sites in the Conagra network as needed
- Days in Omaha, Nebraska office: 4
- Relocation assistance is provided for this role, if applicable
- This role may require you to be in our manufacturing facilities
- You may be required to walk around the facility, climb stairs/ladders, kneel, or perform repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination
- You may be required to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size
Desired Qualifications
- Internship, co-op, or professional experience in food product development, Foodservice, or a related area preferred
