Associate, Fire Engineering

Job Summary
Lead delivery of complex fire engineering projects across commercial, residential, healthcare, education, industrial, and infrastructure sectors while providing technical oversight and quality assurance of fire strategies, engineering reports, and design solutions. Develop innovative, performance-based fire engineering solutions and act as a technical authority on UK fire safety legislation, Building Regulations, and industry best practice. Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, developers, architects, contractors, and regulatory authorities. Lead proposal preparation, fee submissions, and bid responses; contribute to market strategy and support the growth objectives of the fire engineering business. Lead, mentor, and develop a team of fire engineers. This leadership role combines technical excellence, business development, people management, and client engagement within the largest fire consultancy in Europe.
Required Qualifications
- Degree qualified in Fire Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related engineering discipline
- Ideally be Chartered or working towards becoming a Chartered Engineer
- Significant experience within a fire engineering consultancy environment
- Experience leading, managing, and developing technical teams
