Job Summary

Prepare and review end-to-end production of compliant Head-Office Consolidated Financials and ECB Regulatory Reporting. Build, maintain, and optimize Power BI dashboards to transform raw accounting data from core ledgers into dynamic financial reports. Perform deep-dive balance sheet, income statement, and off-balance sheet variance analysis to isolate data anomalies and explain financial movements. Execute User Acceptance Testing and validation protocols for reporting infrastructure projects and automated dashboard rollouts. Streamline reporting workflows by reducing reliance on manual spreadsheets and implementing automated validation checks. Collaborate across Finance, Risk, Treasury, and external auditors to resolve data dependencies and translate insights into actionable recommendations for Senior Management. Operate on a hybrid framework requiring two days per week onsite at the New York City office.

Required Qualifications

  • 4+ years in financial reporting, regulatory reporting, or a combined banking accounting function
  • Strong portfolio of data visualization work
  • Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting concepts related to Wholesale Banking products
  • Direct experience with IFRS frameworks and European regulatory reports (e.g., FINREP, LCR DA, or ECB Stress Testing)
  • Hands-on experience building and deploying interactive Power BI dashboards
  • Familiarity with data modeling and mapping unstructured data into structured visualizations
  • High proficiency in the MS Office Suite
  • Working knowledge of SQL or Python for backend data manipulation
  • Open, adaptable mindset toward leveraging generative AI assistants (e.g., Microsoft Copilot) to accelerate code writing, debug complex formulas, and automate routine documentation
  • Strict accountability and a proven ability to deliver high-quality, reliable outcomes
  • Positive, proactive mindset with strong analytical skills and independent thinking capabilities to isolate data anomalies
  • Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills to ensure a clean audit trail
  • Clear, concise, and accurate communication skills (both written and verbal)
  • Distinct ability to tell a financial story visually through data to non-finance audiences and Senior Management
  • Minimum of two (2) days per week onsite at our New York City office

Desired Qualifications

  • Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • CPA or equivalent professional certification
  • Knowledge of US GAAP
  • Experience with Oracle PeopleSoft
  • Experience with SAP
  • Experience with data visualization work
