Job Summary
Conduct client meetings to assess family financial situations and prepare personalized plans covering investment, retirement, risk management, and tax/estate matters. Present comprehensive financial plans using Conquest software and provide recommendations for RRSP contributions, income projections, wealth transition, and charitable giving. Analyze unique tax situations to strategize RRSP/RRIF withdrawals and prepare personal and corporate tax packages. Maintain strong client relationships through ongoing communication via meetings, calls, and emails to address day-to-day inquiries.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of the Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation
- Three years of relevant experience in all aspects of financial and/or tax planning
- Investment industry knowledge
- Ability to work effectively independently and in team environments
- Proof of citizenship, permanent residence or eligibility to work in Canada with no restrictions
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with planning software: Conquest
- Experience with planning software: NaviPlan
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong presentation skills
- CPA designation
- Insurance industry knowledge or license (LLQP certification)
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
