Job Summary
Manage FP&A processes, projects, or procedures to develop and improve reporting, forecasting, and business decision-making tools. Provide well-analyzed recommendations on process improvements, influence FP&A policies, and recommend industry benchmarks to support business cases. Deliver financial forecasts that align with strategic direction while coaching lower-level professionals and acting as a subject matter expert for functional and technical guidance. Implement solutions to existing problems and exchange facts and statuses with internal clients to ensure project closure.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in related field or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education
- Master's Degree in related field or equivalent demonstrated through a combination of work experience, training, military service, or education
- 5+ Years Financial Planning and Analysis in the Banking or Financial Services Industry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to convey a sense of urgency and drive issues/projects to closure
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Ability to listen and interpret the requirements of internal clients, plan accordingly, and exceed expectations
- Strong financial analysis, modeling, and problem-solving
- Demonstrated financial modeling knowledge and skills with strong analytical, qualitative, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills with ability to build relationships at all levels of management
- Excellent leadership skills
- Strong Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, Word
- Strong experience in and knowledge of financial planning and analysis
- Ability to multi-task and meet strict deadlines
- Ability to effectively communicate complex financial transactions and strategies
- Ability to effectively interact with the market, executive management and vendors
- Detail oriented with the ability to research, organize and analyze financial data
