Job Summary
Support global institutional investors through credit and alternative asset classes by leading investment transactions across loan portfolios, securitisations, and structured credit products. Create and review flexible financial models for periodic valuations, design approaches for new asset types, and develop models from scratch including scenarios, sensitivity analyses, and payment waterfalls. Present analysis, cashflow models, and valuation outputs to clients, investors, and auditors while preparing investment summaries and credit memos. Mentor junior team members and oversee smaller teams to ensure timely project completion.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or an MBA from an accredited institution
- Understanding of financial statement, securitisations, prepayments, defaults, and various capital structures
- Strong proficiency in financial modelling using MS Excel
- Ability to work independently and manage smaller groups to ensure timely project completion
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple assignments under pressure to meet deadlines
Desired Qualifications
- certifications like CFA, FRM, CAIA
- VBA knowledge
- Familiarity with valuations in private markets
