Job Summary
Junior Financial Advisor needed to support client service and planning work at Girls Just Gotta Have Funds in Redwood City, CA. You will assist with client relationships, prepare meeting agendas and materials, complete investment proposals, assist with planning workflows (RightCapital/RightBridge), support CRIA review, respond to client inquiries, organize client data, and partner with senior advisors to prepare for client meetings. The role emphasizes learning the team’s planning process, technology, client experience, and service model, with gradual development of your own client relationships. Location is primarily in Redwood City with occasional travel to Walnut Creek or Pleasanton for team meetings; the role expects a combination of office presence and team collaboration, and offers mentorship and hands-on experience in financial advisory work.
Required Qualifications
- Active securities licenses or the ability to support investment advisory review work
- Financial services, wealth management, insurance, banking, or client service experience
- Strong attention to detail and follow-through
- A process-oriented mindset and comfort using technology
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- A client-first approach with a warm, professional presence
- Willingness to support administrative work while building advisory experience
- Ability to work primarily from the Redwood City office
- Willingness to attend team meetings in Walnut Creek or Pleasanton on Wednesdays as needed
